Cumsky & Levin LLP was established as an alternative to downtown law firms. The partners, Marc D. Cumsky and Richard J. Levin (both of whom were formerly partners at major Boston law firms), believe that "big firm" quality and expertise can be combined with small firm responsiveness and sensitivity to costs to create a higher standard of legal service.
The firm's offices are located in Harvard Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts. At present, the firm includes the two partners, their associates, and "of counsel" attorneys. The work of the firm is concentrated in the areas of commercial real estate law (including development, finance, and commercial leasing), affordable housing development and finance, secured transactions, general corporate and business law, and litigation.
